Amethyst users and Primal users can't communicate with each other, except from a root kind 1 note. Amethyst uses kind 1111 and NIP-17. Primal uses kind 1 and NIP-04. This heavily affects communication, as an example, between me and @nprofile…qagl
So Nostr has already split in two, and that's not a good thing.

That means you don't need permission from anyone to use it, and you can't be banned from using it. Both Nostr and Bitcoin are also permissionless.

Yes, but if I serve gif as much much smaller mp4, and have url with or without .mp4 things work or break depending on a client
Yes, very different renderers. ExoPlayer for videos is a beast of complexity. Gifs go into the usual image viewer.

You know what I learned from someone? If you mix ketchup with soy sauce, it actually tastes good. Has to be a ratio like 1 tea spoon of soy sauce for every table spoon of ketchup. Good for fries or as a tangy dip.

I recovered most of my notes and followers list but when I try to repost some of my lost post by using other client and copy them in Amethyst I can not see them in my profile. The reactions and notifications about them are active but it's invisible. They have links of JPG. What's wrong with them? I still can not see my followers in the side bar but in the profile page they are visible.
I prefer raw tomato 🍅 with salt and lemon
Did you release in the zap store or as a release event kind? If not, then no. It will be treated as a regular kind 1 and there are far to many kind 1s to summarize.
Did Zillion release appeared on your newspaper?

⚡️💬 FLASH - I’m going to be honest and share my thoughts on the Nostr ecosystem, specifically the apps I’ve tried.
@nprofile…pcd3 : 6/10. It lets me see all my notifications, but overall, I don’t like the user interface or the font used.
@nprofile…vnlh : 5/10. It lets me read secure private messages, but the app is generally slow, which ruins the user experience. You have to tap twice to like a post, and the name needs to be changed—I think it’s very poorly chosen.
@nprofile…54wh : 7/10. This is the app I use the most—it's the fastest—but its development is very slow: you have to wait nearly a year before you can add GIFs. Plus, adding the "Read" category to the bottom bar is pointless: in two years, I've never read a single "read."
@nprofile…fvca : 4/10. The design is gorgeous. But the app is still just a prototype—or even unusable. It's IMPOSSIBLE to delete the wallet, and the app is extremely slow.

Same. I keep a bottle in the fridge in case someone asks for it. Usually have to throw it out and replace every year.
