Disturbing new theory comes to light in the Iran 🇮🇷 X Pissrael 🇮🇱 x AmeriKKKa 🇺🇸 warring.
#SmartCities in Iran 🇮🇷 too? Conferences in the midst of a hot war?
Several questions this raises:
- Is this really just 1 BIG #PsyOp between all Empire?
- Pissrael's 🇮🇱 hate for Islamic countries is not real? (Highly doubt that)
- Iran 🇮🇷 just realized that everyone's surveilling their population, so they might as well join in?
- All this drama over centuries to join in to #TechnoFeudalism?
Two or more things can be true at once - Iran is an Empire too, and as we always say, all Empire is bad, no one's a saint.
They can be in #SacredDefense too, whilst wanting to surveil their citizens and move to a Digital Rial of sorts. Who knows, maybe it will help their greatly depreciated currency recover 💱 too?
So many questions. All life's a PsyOp 👁️

We may have spent the last twenty years perfecting the wrong abstraction.

The “app” feels inevitable only because we inherited it.
Open a container.
Load some state.
Reconstruct a world.
Keep that world alive just long enough for the user to interact with it.
Suspend it.
Kill it.
Rebuild it later.
Then call that progress.
We added better animations.
Better state management.
Better lifecycle hooks.
Better dependency injection.
Better observability.
But almost nobody stopped to ask:
Why should the interface own the system at all?
Why should closing a window imply that computation should stop?
Why should a screen be responsible for recovering state that already exists elsewhere?
Why should every application rebuild its own miniature universe of background jobs, caches, event buses, retries, networking, persistence and recovery?
Why should software be organised around windows instead of capabilities?
The current model assumes the thing you see is the thing that exists.
That assumption is backwards.
A system should continue to exist whether or not anyone is looking at it.
Music should not belong to a player window.
Identity should not belong to an app.
Messaging should not belong to a screen.
AI should not belong to a chat box.
Automation should not belong to a dashboard.
The interface should be disposable.
Computation should be durable.
State should belong to the system.
Interfaces should merely observe it, command it, and disappear.
That changes everything.
Instead of:
screen → application → service
you get:
persistent capability → message → any interface
Now a graphical interface, voice command, terminal, remote machine, automation rule or network message can all become equal participants.
No privileged front end.
No sacred app boundary.
No requirement that the computer continuously rebuild itself around whatever rectangle happens to be open.
The industry calls the current model “state of the art.”
Maybe it is.
But state of the art is not the same thing as correct.
Sometimes an entire industry can spend decades optimising a constraint that never needed to exist.
The next generation of computing may not be about better apps.
It may be about finally making the app irrelevant.
