I think reformer pilates is overrated, and feels like using a tool that has too many features for what you actually need to do

Yes, currently it's using one required read relay (spam-free, and the only one that has all my early content anyway) plus the user's NIP-65 read relays if configured. Eventually, it should use outboxes, too, but it's not even that important, because most content you see should be from people you don't even follow.
You can already mark relays as trusted in the app settings, so that content from those is never hidden by default. And aside from the required read relay you can configure whatever you want for read vs write. Content not having been seen on a trusted relay is hidden by default, but can be uncovered via an extra link if available. (Already implemented.)
Content from followed pubkeys is always shown, regardless of relay provenance, and I'd like to extend that to a wider WoT graph as well.
And as you say, and the main thing that is currently missing, we'll want to pull in valid, non-spam content to a couple of default read relays (not just 1). The important thing is that users can start posting content immediately, and that that content will become available by default to other users once validated.
Yes, I actually recommended running `nak bunker` and perhaps just using an LLM to create some bash scripts around it for convenience.
There was Keycast that was made for this specific use case, but you had to run it on a web-accessible server. Is that asking too much? I think it was repurposed now into a custodial key service for Divine users (because no one was interested in the original product).
But if you want to delegate simply running `nak bunker` should work, no?
If you don't want to run it yourself but also don't want to handle your key to a third party then the best solution is a FROST bunker. We have that infrastructure running and you can plug your own parts of the stack or reuse the public services as you wish (would be nice to get more public operators though). The only limitation is that profiles are tied to Google accounts for now, but that can change if there is demand, as I just wrote somewhere else.

The NIPs look good and I like the use case, finally someone seems to be doing this right.
The problem that remains is how to properly source this content. The only thing that comes to my mind is, as you seem to be doing, to fetch from a specific relay.
Content from people you follow could be automatically added, sourced from the their outbox relays.
The next and probably hardest part is opening it up for other relays. Perhaps letting the user pick manually (which requires some common knowledge of what relays are good for this type of thing to develop tacitly) or autosuggesting based on some NIP-51 "lists of relays that have good place review content" from the current user and friends, and maybe from other people who are in a "list of people who publish and repost good place reviews".
Ad hominems also don't solve anything. And we all have limited time.
If you're not interested in people using Nostr for the social media use case, then why did you reply in the first place.
You know what definitely doesn't work? Telling some who's merely looking for a simple solution to posting content to create an entire key management and publishing architecture for themselves.

I fully agree with most people on the planet not being interested in discussing anything with strangers on the Internet, and when it comes to Nostr, I usually tell people that I'm much more excited about the Other Stuff than I am about the Twitter use case. Things like Electrum co-signing messages now being much more reliable with the Nostr plugin would be one such example.
I'm not sure you've seen it, but I'm currently working on another use case that does involve people posting public content, and where they do like posting it in a public square, and they currently post virtually all of it to a handful of proprietary silos. The content is photos and reviews for physical places.
I haven't opened PRs for the two NIPs (one for photos and one for reviews) yet, because my app wasn't and probably isn't quite ready for sending a lot of people there as of now. However, I do have the photos implemented, and since last week it's now also possible to zap photos and discover activity from both followed pubkeys as well as other users.

Reviews are more difficult to get right, but I'm pretty excited about those already. And the main challenge, of course, is that we can't have dickbutts showing up when looking at photos of a restaurant you're interested in (which I already solved on the app side, but I'm not pulling in auto-moderated content from elsewhere to the trusted default relay yet).
The idea is that we can have a free market around this content, because it's owned by the actual user, but anyone is able to integrate it in their apps or hosted services.

Yes, this is exactly what I suggested.
However, it currently takes too much effort to get from "I want to delegate signing" to the point of actually knowing what to do and having it running in production, reliably and safely. There's an opportunity there to create a good UI specifically for this use case (as opposed to personal bunker use).
This is not a solution, because the org doesn't want you to follow separate employee accounts.
It's now back to usual week after Free Cities conference: pilates, golf, tennis, catching up with people since it'll be our final week in Roatan, Honduras.
I so far have managed to do things that I have been wanting to do while here, except to do a scuba intro course (too much going on) and watercolor art (hard to focus, and need an actual desk).
Another issue has been how small the apartments have been, so without a dedicated private workspace for 2, it's actually a bit difficult to do anything. It's a typical issue regardless of where you stay in because a large enough desk space for 2 is challenging whether it is in a 5* hotel or Airbnb.
Luckily, I am on a "break" (except to volunteer as a mentor and as an exam writer) and I have come up with things to do, so the situation isn't THAT bad. But if I was working like my usual mode, with the need for private space to work, OK internet connection, occasional unannounced power issues, and lack of space/privacy for calls, the timezones, I would only be able to tolerate to stay a couple of weeks, or break up the stay in a hotel, or stay in a villa.
A couple of days ago, I discussed Nostr with a bitcoin miner, who also teaches people and helps adoption on the ground here. He said the main reason his organization isn't publishing notes is that he doesn't want to hand the org's nsec to his employees. So, it's true, technical people are certainly aware of the risks of using a single private key for identity.
I'm not sure if key rotation is more important than delegation, or sub keys, or than even just a good UI for submitting notes to someone to sign.
