I wouldn't know how to answer that; I suppose they've amassed too much power to be brought down.
But consider the ancient scriptures to be among the most radical teachings I've ever encountered—very difficult for any mortal to follow, and certainly far removed from the doctrine of the Catholic Church.
To me, Jesus is the most radical man who has ever lived, regardless of whether he is the son of God or not.
If I had to confess my moral creed, it would undoubtedly be the teachings of Jesus.

It should've collapsed from within many times over the vast 2 millenia. Why has it not is the more interesting question. I am Catholic, not to defend its rulers and principalities now or in the past, but it remains and its faithful fight for the spirit of it despite them.

There’s one thing I love about Nostr: the level of cultural discourse is usually much higher than on other social media platforms.
I tend to have radical opinions, and I don’t usually get insulted for them.
I’m grateful for that, since my opinions are the result of years of reflection—I didn’t arrive at them lightly.

These might be unrelated to memory safety in particular, I dunno, but still, please, please, please don't start new #security critical things in C anymore. This has nothing to do with programming language cults; it just becomes overwhelming for OCD'ed guys like me to involuntarily audit things written even with much more recent stacks than this.
I guess #hostapd will be one of the next ones. Wish there was at least A SINGLE alternative implementation in whatever better language. Not another coreutils, not an entire OS or something. Just the WiFi hotspot thing through which you're probably currently connected right now.
