Amazing features on the way. This week I was working hard on extending scripting capabilities of the game.
- Async nodes!
- Spatial variables
- Added support for custom wasm nodes - Shareable node libraries
- Drivable properties
- Ability to check which script is driving the parameter
- New data types: int, quaternion, byte, list, map and much more
- Scriptable asset properties
- Easy event binding
- Body part selector
- Themable nodes
- Themable entire UI
- Helper node for animation graph to set up digitigrade avatars
- Easily editable Value and Variable components (including list and map types)
- Visual debug for impulses and node values
- Color-coded pins
- Rounded corners 😀
Big improvements for the main wasm back-ends:
- Player input handling
- Audio in/out
- Texture in/out
- Assets in/out
- State management
- Cross-peer synchronisation
- Demo "pong" game
- Demo FFT analyser
- Exposed host nostr functions
- Security gates
- Custom scripted components
Also the main UI had some improvements:
- Panoramic previews for local worlds and the worlds you are in
- Customisable full qwerty keyboard with IME Japanese and Chinese input options and emojis that supports finger-tracked input
And what I plan to finish by the end of the week:
- Player-authored UI themes discoverable and installable though the nostr network
That's only the most visible changes. Lots of performance improvements and bugfixes has been made in-general

Cameras make my brain hurt. Almost done though. Take photos or record videos in plain, stereo or 360°. Also you can "solo" something to take a cutout photo. There are director panel, camera anchors (had to implement snappers first) and WIP drone system built in wasm. Everything is built from components, so you can create your own cameras and systems

Working on cameras. It's a very fun feature to implement. You can have LUT filters, record videos, mirror preview to desktop for OBS, create your own camera rigs and multi-camera systems.

Finally got time to fix the gizmo system. Now selecting something on a weared avatar is not a migraine-inducing action. Also extended the devtool to be able to clean selection, transform/rotate/scale/everything modes and switch between local/global. Which means that now editing can be done in VR without relying on the keyboard hotkeys

Big update: In-world app streaming has officially arrived in the Verge!
Run desktop apps directly in-world, stream them to friends, and even let others take the controls. Window layouts save automatically per-world like custom workspaces, and the entire feature is fully supported across Desktop, VR, and Mixed Reality!
