save in bitcoin
if you want to invest in this or that, or trade that thing, own this thing, then cool
but bitcoin is extremely, extremely high quality savings technology
and it's classified as property by the U.S. gov't, so it's better than whatever 3 bed 2 bath you're looking to airbnb too

"People who succeed reach decisions promptly, and change them (if at all) very slowly.
"People who fail reach decisions (if at all) very slowly, and change them quickly and frequently.
Indecision and procrastination are twin brothers. Where one is found, the other is usually to be found also.
Kill off this pair before they completely hogtie you to the treadmill of failure."

"That's it, isn't it? Rules and rule changes. If you want to deeply and utterly depress someone, change the rules, and change them often. Force them to do something meaningless. Change the rules arbitrarily. That's what really demoralizes people: being imprisoned in a system of arbitrary rule changes. No hope for stability and no way out."

"The behaviour of Hongwu, the first of the Ming emperors, is an object lesson in how to stifle the economy: forbid all trade and travel without government permission; force merchants to register an inventory of their goods once a month; order peasants to grow for their own consumption and not for the market; and allow inflation to devalue the paper currency 10,000-fold."
—Matt Ridley, from The Rational Optimist

"The word *courage* is very interesting. It comes from a Latin root *cor*, which means 'heart.' So to be courageous means to live with the heart. And weaklings, only weaklings, live with the head; afraid, they create a security of logic around themselves. Fearful, they close every window and door-with theology, concepts, words, theories-and inside those closed doors and windows, they hide."

"Entropy suggests that we gain the most insight on a question when we take it to the person of whose response we're least certain.
And it suggests, perhaps, that if we want to gain the most insight into a *person*, we should ask the *question* of whose answer we’re least certain."

same with money.
some people come of age during a deep depression or excessive inflation, others during a raging bull market or generational prosperity and cheap gas, and each grows older thinking they've learned how to save and invest.
Morgan Housel probably said it best: "Your personal experiences with money make up maybe 0.00000001% of what's happened in the world, but maybe 80% of how you think the world works."
