Sad story to read in the morning 🥲
But even the closed models can write FOSS software. And often the good models are better in architecture then most human too.
So I would not really sit with you on that one.
In the end they create and publish tools we can use. And when they are published with sourcecode and run locally. Isn’t this the whole deal about free and opensource?
I mean no living soul could actually verify all code that runs on their computer not even before AI.
I don’t know. I assume so. But I do not drive a car regularly. So not the right person to ask.
I would say so. It does not have realtime data to get around trafficjams.
But it has a huge amount of details. You look for the closest fountain, you’ll find it, for the next ATM, is also there.
Its basically a Wikipedia of location data.
I already got used to OrganicMaps offline routing.
I am totally open to change my assumption. But the time is still to come, where you share your first evidence to back any of your claims.
Not a single claim of yours is backed by evidence you brought forward.
Absolute nonsense, what you do.
Stop behaving as if you would be a great genious medical scientist. You grant around on such a small issue, while the data of the efficacy of the vaccine are drowning every doubt with massive evidence.
How do you explain the all cause mortality difference of 25%?
How do you explain the severe COVID effects with 75% less deadly effects on vaccined?
Those numbers rely not even a dime on this 2 weeks. But you desperatly want to belief, that the vaccines were not working or even decreasing humans health, while there is all the evidence for the contrary.
Stop behaving like a clown. Really.
You completly overstate those two weeks. Lets take the study of a number of people over a time of 4 years.
These two weaks get the potential to change the results for 1%. This is the biggest change you can expect.
It does not flip these studies on its head. And as I wrote before. It would be false to account those two weeks as fully vaccinated.
Or what part do youlnot understand of that vaccines need time to have their full effect on the immune system? This time span are the two weeks.
Probably yes 🙌
Those who were not killed by the overreaching surveillance regimes, that are growing now.
Totally agree
I would definitly say, that the panic is something that has happened very often. I think it is just that the rate of change is not comforting most people. And therefore they panick.
When there are coming generations, I think they will be fine with this.
I am too. I mean, when a change is unstoppable, we need to go forward and accept it.
I always think of this phrase: "Accept the things I can not change and invest my energy and time in the things I can change."
#nevent1q…822u
What is falsifiable in: "probably there are cases, where vaccine sideeffects were accounted to the effects for the lack of them..."?
Every medicine has some time to take effect. With coffein you have around 20-40 minutes until the effect is in full activity.
So it is reasonable to account people that only just got vaccinated still as unvaccinated. Since their immune system did not yet get the time to react fully on the jab.
But this will make a very small change in evidence. When a pandemic was here around 3 years, I would not give a damn about two weeks.
And yes. Today it is more clear than ever, that vaccines like Phizer, Modena and those used in the west had by far lower sideeffects, than the infection has had effects on the body.
Sources to back this:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38388239/#:~:text=Using%20a%20modified,in%20the%20US.
Shows mortality of people with or without vaccine. An estremely strong 25% lower all cause morality for vaccined compared to unvaccined people.
Also 74% less people died from severe COVID effects, when they were jabbed.
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/403095155_JAMA_Network_Open-The_Year_in_Review_2025#:~:text=COVID%2D19%20mRNA%20Vaccination,severe%20COVID%2D19%20death

The most sever sideeffect of vaccines (Myocarditis) occured 7 times more often in infected people than in people that had the vaccine. So yes this was may still a sideeffect. But COVID caused it also simply in a much higher number of people.
No this is not my point. My point is that scientific discussion happens through papers. The scientific reputation, through falsification, analysis of the methods applied and the number of citations define, what value a paper has.
A podcast is no professional board of scientific discussion. Share the paper of this doctor. Then we can examine, what critics say about it.
My critique is actually towards you, to keep a line of argumentation without bringing evidence, where we both can check on it.
You try to stay vague, so your claims can not be falsified. But only something that can be falsified can be of value even.
So you actually base your oppinion on somebody saying this and that on a podcast?
I hope you realize how rediculous this sounds?
A podcast is by no means any sirious source, where one can get good feedback if this stuff has any backing in facts or is merely some gut feeling by someone. It is not a platform of scientific discussion neighter.
No sirious scientist publishes their big breakthrough (what a rewrite of such a narrative would be) in a podcast. When this is backed by anything, there is a poper for it and then there ic critique for this paper.
Before studying the paper or at leaxt the critique, I really do not understand, why you blindly trust some dude that gets invited into a podcast.
You really just seem to have a very random share of trust. To some sources you trust simply by the fact that somebody interviewed them and others you do not trust, even when there is papers backing a position.
I think at this point it is hard to give you any credibility at all. Some critical thinking basics you have to understand in order to be of any help in a scientific discussion.
Seems like the design of Amethyst. Beautiful and with a lot of options. But please take this as no offense. I think Nostr needs this super app, where one can explore all the features of nostr.
Other apps should then focus to be more minimal.
Yes. I think in the last decade many people got more cornered in their circle of thoughts. And the freedom to listen to stuff one probably does not agree with got smaller.
I think it has a lot to do with doomscrolling and overconsuming, which brings many people into a stress situation. They only react in a type of "fight or flight" mode.
Most of the time it is not important, that we decide fast (fight or flight), but rather that we can find good decisions.
I feel you.
Often I tested such keybinding tools as vim. But always ran back to GUI-based, since I often did not see the bigger picture.
But maby my tasks are also not so much in coding. So I simply do not profit from these tools in the same way fulltime coders would.
Always in the offense. Good energy 🙌
I think we are on the way to get bigger then that chamber. Or at least my filters are adjusted, that it feels more and more like it.

Great to hear. In the end it is far more important, what common ground people share, than where we diverge.
Since for differences mostly ignorance is the needed action. And for common ideas, cooperation is what speeds up our utopia coming true. 🙌
Definitly. Hopefully Nostr can grow to a meaningful exchange of thoughts, where everyone is welcome.
Great to see people that know Nostr is bigger than the sum of all nostriches.

Thanks for this video. I actually learned something. Reduce mental load.
Does not matter. hen a software is free to use, copy, analyse and modify, the thoughts of the developers do not matter as much.
You can use it as you like. And when someone doesn’t like to use a software, let them 😉
Good news if it is true.
Hopefully these new listeners do not simply like the surveillance they hear 🥲🫣
Definitly they have things to solve.
One is to keep their independence, the other is internal corruption. But corruption is usually not a short term effort.
It needs a change of culture.
Should rather stand for internet and propaganda driven info-channels.
These is still a lot of very good jounalism. It can be found everywhere. Not only in print, not only in the internet.
But the hard part is to figure out what can be trusted sources. And every individual needs to make this decision for themself.
I think Debian and Arch have contrary goals. Debian wants stability. Therefore new changes of packages are tested well, before they go in the stable release. So with debian you get stability.
Arch on the other side just updates every time a maintainer changes a bit of his project. So you get always the newest features the first. But then usually as arch user you are also a alpha or beta tester.
Just different goals. Both distros offer a very good community driven distro. Both base in FOSS packages.
Yes. But I would argue, that most bad goals are not rational.
But clearly one can always give rational explanations on how to achiev a goal and they are no good at all.
I rather would say, that human rights are the corner stone of humanity.
Execution is outside it already.
What a title 😂

Thank you for your detailed review. Such an intresting perspective.

So rare #amethyst just says that I follow this handle. And it shows me the notes in my feed.
@nprofile…vhl6 can you somehow know how this happens?
Could be me. You are the only shitposter I follow, since your posts sometimes are actually funny 🙌🥳
Omarchy is a new (very opinionated) arch-based Linux distro.
The goal of DHH (who created Omarchy) is to build a distro, that is very fast to install, offers all the tools DHH uses and looks nice.
It is explicitly not the goal to make it similar to Windows or Mac. The goal is not an easy opt in for new users. The goal is to offer a new way of computing to those who are willing to learn it.
Networkchuck has a good conversation with DHH, where he explains the intentions:

Thanks for this. So important to see this difference. Political discourse is just a tool. People can misuse it to push their own good. But the tool of political duscussion has no inherent problems.
#nevent1q…jpww
I accept these terms and conditions
Hopefully there is a way to end this madness of Putin. Hard to say, if it can even be an option by the big propaganda Putin throws at russians.

Hopefully more people start using Zapstore 🫣
(and AOSP based roms, since Stock Android will stop the install of secondary stores 🫣🫣🫣)
Not really for anyone. Only for the owners of the relays I connect to. And the amount of data collected is minimal.
It will be hard to connect nostr user handles to real people, when they use a VPN and do not directly share the personal data in public.
And I hope you have the ability to pardon me for liking a comment, where context is given. I still like the comment. It is context. And everyone can do with it what he/she wants.
I think for an opensource project it is nothing that makes me not use it for knowing this context. But it is maby a reason to look at the mentioned com unities with apathy.

I think it is no problem to use a good solution. Even when it is developed by a racist or whatever imoral person.
And I spend no time trying to not be racist. For me it comes naturally to look at people as simple humans with whatever different changable and non-changable characteristics.
But I also stated in this mentioned comment, that my firsturection to this post was might a bit far from my values.
I think that we all have quiet independent capabilities.
And when you think so, why would you use it?
And did you already get used to the tiling window manager?
What do you think is the economic powerhouse #USA built on?
Hopefully more people chase quality of life for the decades to come.
#nevent1q…h58c
I just reacted to this. Then I checked out some conversations on youtube about omarchy, checked the doctrine and the link you shared.
And I think in the end it seems to me, that socially not so capable people can be damn genius in building good technical solutions.
These are diferent dimensions.
And I want to look at Omarchy for the goals it stands for. In the end apple does not base its popularity for social traits of the CEO. It is an opinionated predefined system, that offers productivity through making most decisions for the user.
Fritz Haber also foun a way to produce ammonia in a synthetic way, which results in a agricultural revolution and the end of a lot of hunger in the world. And he was called the father of chemical warfare. He created them for the german military in the first worldwar.
In my view, the process on how to cynthesize is still great. Not matter what his opinions and works are besides it.
And the same way Omarchy can be great, while its owner is not to be idealized in other traits. And I think this is also what the freedom in Linux stands for. A war criminal can participate in Linux. And humanrights activists can participate. In linux it is about how well a techvical solution works. Nothing else.
But clearly maby there are communities, where one would not like to participate in.
