🚨🎯

2026-10-06 14:03:13 UTC

The internet is likely being taken over by the government. Legacy news media, the old propaganda arm, is dying and no longer holds a deep footprint in people's lives. It used to be the newspaper. Now the same machine has to work through the social media apparatus, and X, TikTok, Instagram and the rest have been taken over as a means to push algorithmic plagues of lies and deceit.
By the way, the Pneumonic Plague is back? In Russia, with one dead and about 200 being quarantined. I wonder why this little psyop is happening. Hmm. Any elections coming up?
Nostr might be the last little place that cannot be captured. A refuge. A safe haven. A place where TRUTH can thrive. In my honest opinion, we have no idea of the gem and the beauty that Nostr holds in our lifetime.
Just thinking. Oh ya, GM Nostr!

I’m out for the night. Until tomorrow Nostr. ✌️

Paying to be boosted is more about visibility than the note itself. You could write the best thing on Nostr today and it still dies in the feed if nobody with reach ever sees it.
That's why paid boosts are a tool worth using. Every business that ever sold anything paid for attention. The difference on Nostr is that the sats go straight to the person doing the boosting instead of a company deciding who sees you. And if someone wants to pay you to share their work, why not take it? You spent years building the audience they're borrowing.
Not everyone has thousands of followers, and you can't always rely on an "influencer" to repost you. A paid boost gives the small account a way in that doesn't depend on luck.

Fine, you win, smh. Cashu does the offline part, Bitchat's just the pipe. The India story is about uncensorable comms, not money. Still think Jack's a legend for building it

It doesn't send on chain bitcoin offline, but it can pass Cashu ecash (bitcoin backed bearer tokens) phone to phone over Bluetooth.

I’ve used it with some friends when I tested it. Legit. However, I’ve only seen one other person ever from just randomly logging in around my area. I see it’s potential.

Jack Dorsey’s BitChat app that lets you send Bitcoin with zero internet was banned in India recently.
An app this powerful and governments are already trying to kill it.
A money this powerful and they keep trying to stop it.
There’s only ONE billionaire actually standing up for freedom.
Absolute legend.
I’d like to see Jack back here on Nostr more often.

I don't claim to be some high end, proficient vibe coder. I've played around enough to know that it really doesn't matter if you write it yourself or the AI hands it to you. Being good at coding is valuable not because you're gonna write things top to bottom but because you become a good director, a good architect. You can tell apart bad code from good code.

In the near future, Al is going to tell a woman that she is wrong and to calm down... and that, my friends, will be the end of AI...

You can't feel the weight of something that weighs nothing, so the seriousness is the clue and the pointlessness is the lie. 🤙🏼
