This one’s for Muslim eschatology - a possibility clicked in my head about prophetic tradition mentioning the lengthening of days and shortening of days to point of extreme where a day may be as a year. These could be astronomical events as we witness at the poles but have you ever considered time measured differently, as a time chain, where blocks can be delayed significantly? I imagine such phenomena would coincide with large events like solar storms or massive volcanic or even meteoric debris, but it’s whole not unlikely. God save us from such trials.
