Learn from men :p

In Western countries, men are twentyfold more likely to be the victims of a violent crime in a public space than women.

The gap is less in some developing countries (India, we're talking about you), but still enormous.

Men typically report they handle this by not thinking about it. Far more of us end up dead, robbed or in hospital after passing through public spaces, but we also have more fun.
