kinda, if you are using datum with your own gateway. and your datum gateway is overwriting the payout address, so you can use any username. the place you rent the hashrate from can't know your btc address. which increases your privacy. but issue is someone can still track public datum pool data and match your rented hashrate with the hashrates of users on the pool.

similar to some exchanges, some places you rent hashrate from also don't have kyc. but most important place is where you deposit your fiat. if that can be linked to you, then they can follow you. a site nlt having kyc doesn't mean they don't share information with the states.

cleanest way is having a rig, and mining from there. unless they can also somehow link it to you by your electricity usage to your hashrate.
