what's fun about this, is that bitcoin will not cope well with a really big drop in hashpower. the chain will become vulnerable to private sidechains doing censorship attacks and during the period of low hashpower, the block cadence will drop badly.

biggest attack we can make on spamchain is to take a lot of its miners off the network and move elsewhere. even if they *think* they are killing a fork, that is something that eats at bitcoin core's security. you will see.
