its funny how we are keep damaging the thing we should maximize and optimize for, which is making running a node easier.
bitcoin is the NODE you have. bitcoin doesnt live on the sky, you alone run all of bitcoin yourself. all of the ideas of bitcoin being decentralized are based on every user being a node.
if you are not using your own node you are not using bitcoin. you dont have to know how your node works, or be a nerd to run a node. bitcoin user by definition is a node. but its too complex, too user unfriendly. its almost like they dont want you to run your own instance of bitcoin.
