Alright, so "nostr is dead" is a pretty common refrain, and I never really questioned it much. But then I pulled up this little gauge on Wisp.
How accurate do we think this number is? 242 people in the entire world are on nostr at this particular moment? I mean, sure, the nostr community probably has a higher than average proportion of people who attend church on Sunday mornings, but on the other hand everything on nostr is so fragmented and janky that a global metric like this seems unlikely to be capturing everything.
Anyone got any insight on this?
