It's always DNS.
Fixed it.
Good morning, more fixes and tweaks were made to covers and player for audio. Available to all account holders and even free uploads work too.

**Nostr directory system based upon UNIX.**
Yes, we actually proceeded with this. @npub1636…qpl4 had the first practical use case, with her *bookshelves* concept. The shelves are folders in the directory and can be nested.
It is very appropriate to use events to organize your events.

I know that this isn't the topic du jour, but I built a thing. You can now rate the publications.

@npub1utx…50e8 Which relays are you using for the client analytics?
apple did not object to us selling credits for https://usek.ai/ via lightning
wss://relay.ditto.npub is also crawling with bots 🤖
Add that and wss://relay.primal.net to your relay blocklist
New Imwald Android matches core functionality from Bookshelf.

Your relay list is crap.
That's why you see bots. 🤖

Hope that works for you 🤞
Y'all, my girl @npub1636…qpl4 totally surprised me with this and it's already so nice. I have the best frens, fr. 🫂
#nevent1q…an07
@npub10np…tl5h has already brought the Project Gutenberg data set onto wss://thecitadel.nostr1.com. Wikipedia data coming up next.

We should probably just do everything Djot, then. I'm dealing with 3 different markups, now: Asciidoc, Markdown, and Djot.
I now have my own blossom server, thanks to #newlay from @npub10np…tl5h . I made it to host only my own stuff.

Okay, new #Imwald Android has dropped. Now with kind 04/14 DMs and kind 24 PMs. Full #divine support. Replies always kind 1111.
Have fun. 🫡

Okay, the newest #Imwald Android supports djot markup for kinds 11 and 30818 and shows your #divine stuff.
Web version getting the same treatment.

That's why you should use a real signer and not grant universal permission.
It's just a WebView shell. Not Kotlin or something.
Well, you could get the nsec if they aren't using a signer.
#Cursor is upping the Ultra plan limits. They're already so high that I haven't managed to get over 75%.
Thank you, China. 🫡
Competition is good for customers.
I'm completely removing nsec storage and NWC/zaps from Imwald Web and Imwald Android and cutting off some other risky paths.
Security updates coming today.
Ditto’s bug was arbitrary JavaScript in the app WebView (XSS), not RCE, from which they could drive the app. Including the session keys, but no stealing of the key.
That's divine, right? I've never used that app.
We have waited so long for this meme. 😂
On Imwald Android, turn on Automated Data Management, in Settings.
Oh, but _groan_. I finally got around to implementing kind 1010 edits from @npub1gcx…nj5z on kind 1 events. Couldn't we just come up with 1011 edits for kind 1111 events, or something? I have such a nice UI for it. 😭
Okay, some full-text search indexes are still building, but the **canonical wiki and publication data** from Wikipedia, Open Library, and Project Gutenberg should be online again, have correct and complete tags, and be easy to filter.
The dataset is on wss://mercury-relay.imwald.eu/relay/ and available over the REST API on https://mercury-relay.imwald.eu/
I updated https://jumble.imwald.eu/library to take advantage of the new filters. Performance is much better, now. I'll keep juicing that up, and then I'll move the update onto an #Alexandria web client rework.
It's taken months to get to this point, but we made it.
I.e. "People Who Can Still Read a Whole Book"
I'm having the AI write my git commits and now they don't just contain text like "random bug fixes and I changed the button to green label".
the switch account. the button is not there, or is too slow to load.
@npub1w4u…0jr5 when I go to switch npubs, it takes two tries to get the switch button. That started with the newest version.
I'm currently completely republishing all of the:
* Project Gutenberg books (kind 30040 publications with 30041 sections),
* Open Library cards (kind 30040 with no sections),
* and Wikipedia pages (kind 30818 Asciidoc).
Already spot-tested and the new tags and tables give relays much better performance. The Mercury relay will be offline for a few more hours due to the import and reindexing, but then it should be zoom, zoom, zoom.
TheCitadel relay is also uploading them, and some other relays, and I will be broadcasting.
Took me forever to get the parsers right and setup a monthly pipeline to deliver the deltas from the canonical dumps. If monthly goes smoothly, I can switch to weely.
If they're using Nostr, then they're on Nostr, tho. They just aren't using the same relays we are. But I also use relays nobody else knows about.
Most Nostr traffic probably isn't on these relays, anymore, which is fine by me. Decentralization good.
Slow day on Nostr. Might as well do some work.
Server maintenance day, today.
