Lost Creek Ridge part 2. Like a lot of treks in the Cascades this one starts off in a river valley, the North Fork of the Sauk River which empties into the Skagit River and then into Puget Sound. You can tell we're near the river by the moss draped alders and the luxurious bracken ferns.
