Easier said than done. Bip110 will not stop this from happening. I hope we can agree on that.
Also, Core 30 didn’t change consensus - it adjusted node relay policy. Bitcoin has always allowed arbitrary data in blocks.
So Bip110 isn't rolling it back to how it was.
They are making very rushed changes to consensus.
