Sad to hear that Karenism had to lash out at this poor man.
My neighborhood had a similar issue. There was a bunch of stupid teenagers doing ding-dong ditch. But two of my more hysterical female neighbors convinced themselves that these kids broke into their garages. I saw the footage that they put out in the neighborhood group chat. No such burglary occurred.
But they would not shut up about it nor hear contradictory statements regarding their own footage. They kept going until they convince skme of the other neighbors that these kids were doing way more than just ding-dong-ditch. This is in a state with castle doctrine and stand your ground laws. I had to stay up late at night hunting for these kids to let them know that stupid rumors were gonna get them shot for burglary because people don't know to shut their mouths.
Sure the kids were dumb, but the hysterics were just gasoline on the fire and made everything worse.
Thankfully, my wife did some wizardry and found one of the kids' fathers. Saved those kids lives.
