I tried to use it through nvpn as a tailscale like mesh network and between my private home server and my mobile phone, it just wouldn't connect.
My router doesn't allow any sort of port forwarding since they use GNAT so any port forwarding I do would open to another shared NAT that the ISP controls before the internet making it useless.
My phone doesn't port forward either obviously.
Not sure why holepunching is so hard, but I thought that was the whole point of FIPS, to "just work" like magic.
