I had a neighbor come onto my property drunk yelling profanity at me and throw tree branches at me while I was holding one of my kids.

Now allegedly I'm mean and unreasonable because my answer to everything they want from me or my wife is that they can fuck all the way off.

Someone who demands to meet the mean version of me doesn't get to switch back easily.
