Why would someone not behrecognized as an individual for putting themself into an echochamber?

Obviously this happens. There are many people, which loose the access of evaluating evidence in a new way.

People that simply restrict themself of all evidence, which undermines their perspective. This is a real thing. And it is what people usually mean, when they talk about echochambers.

Opinionreflectors. Individuals, which fear diverging perspectives. There are even some going that far to discredit a huge amount of journalism, only for their self constructed perspective to not crumble.
