I had a bunch of stuff nuked a few months back that led me to learn all this and start making changes. 0 breakers tripped in the whole house. My bet is utxo the webmaster 🧑💻 (nprofile…jejf) also had no breaker trips.
The Clankers say breakers are milliseconds at their best, lightning is microseconds, MOVs are nanoseconds.
I'm aware of the issue of declaring success, only that I haven't lost anything since adding my type 1 and type 2. Could be luck could be design success. Also that no system will protect you from direct hits.
