I just recently saw someone complaining about Linux people rewriting things in rust instead of innovating. I haven't looked to see the % of memory issues in these new CVEs. What % of your code would you be willing to rewrite in a memory unsafe language before just starting over today? I don't think they are making unreasonable decisions to not focus on innovation today.
