As I see it currently bitcoin will be helpful is correcting the imbalances at the top of the system between the most powerful actors on the planet. The downstream effects of that will be positive for everyone, but that doesn't mean evetybody will use multisig. Most will probably use ecash mili-sats.

The important distinction to me has more to do with transparency, permissionless money, and the ability to opt out.
