I think that people who blindly recommend Multisig give it too much credit and possibly underestimate the security that a single private key already gives you.

It's not a silver bullet, it's a trade off. There are so many ways to take shortcuts like keeping all the keys together or not properly thinking about your realistic attack surfaces.

If you can do Multisig properly, you can probably do single sig properly with more ease.

Imo Multisig is for collaborative custody.
