Completely inaccurate. Ireland was originally Iberian, plus other drift up the coast of Spain from Morocco, after which point other groups joined the fray, but in such small numbers that runs of homozygosity and deleterious mutations became normal.
The Irish are mixed-race and the equivalent of inbred, which explains their null contribution to history and the pathological damage they created in America and Canada.
If all Irish-heritage people vanished (transport to Alpha Centauri) tomorrow, nothing would be worse.
