Hiking Ptarmigan Ridge part 4. You wouldn't know it from its stature but this is dwarf fireweed (Epilobium latifolium). The flowers appear very similar to its much taller cousin but even so I didn't recognize it at all because it's so short. Found around the northern hemisphere at higher elevations and latitudes; TIL it is eaten as a vegetable by the Inuit and is the national flower of Greenland.
