2/ Ok the sun has gone down and I made it through the day with no AC. When I discovered the unit had quit late morning I closed all the shades and the residual cool from before the unit quit did a pretty good job of keeping the downstairs livable. It's reached its peak now at 82F downstairs and 92F upstairs. It's finally gone below 92 outside so I opened the upstairs windows and put a fan in one of them. It'll be late tonight before I can open the downstairs windows. Took a cool shower. HVAC company can't come until Tuesday. Tomorrow will be much worse because the residual cool is now all gone. 🥵
