It's easy and safe to file share/torrent in Canada. I have no idea why. I occasionally get a notice from the internet provider but they have no power at all to stop us.
No doubt they'll soon figure out a way to block this loophole. Trump will complain that Canada is stealing their copyrighted materials and threaten to raise tariffs again which really only harms his own people.
