I wish modern computers and laptops still had an optical drive.
My 1st gaming laptop in 2011 still had one. My 2nd and current gaming laptop does not. And now you have to buy separate usb connected optical drives.
I tried that once for this laptop and the thing fried after like 4 uses. Meanwhile the 15 year old optical drive on my 2011 gaming rig still works.
I think they started taking them out to make room for more internal fans and better cooling, but still.
