We had no problems with the security of BTCPay; the problem is simply that BTCPay is no longer reliable enough and we have countless billing problems with it.
Like BTCPayServer we self host Bitcart on our own infrastructure with no third party involved in the payment process.
With the replacement some things changed. We can't accept Bitcoin Lightning, Cashu and ZCash with Bitcart at the moment. Maybe it will change in the future. BUT we can accept Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tron, Polygon with it and also the stablecoins USDT (ERC20, TRC20, POL) and USDC (ERC20, TRC20, POL).
