When fiat is the yardstick sometimes real "productive" investment is actually more destructive than speculation on nonperishable commodities.
At no point in the future will there ever be infinite monero, and at no point in the future is the supply unknown. There's your scarcity.
Xmr has already caught on.
Censorship resistant publishing without an admin disappearing on some 007-esque schizo adventure and losing my identity because its tied to some guy working full time to keep it that way for free. Which is precisely what happened immediately after I jumped ship.
> Monero has had a similar bug before too. None that compromised Monero's supply integrity, and it was patched before exploited.
That brings an interesting thought to my head. The whole "opaque ledger means hidden inflation bug" argument against XMR is actually a false sense of security, and in a way better for xmr than something transparent. Think about it, if you've got a transparent ledger and you say "nobody has exploited it yet so there's no bug" nobody looks for those bugs until they become exploited, whereas if you wouldnt be able to see if one were exploited as on an opaque ledger, then people are constantly trying to verify that one does not exist, so youre less likely to have one exploited
I'm getting an internal server error on registering a wallet.
Man those types just say whatever crazy shit they can hoping that something sticks. They're the reason every accusation of being a super duper badman is becoming weightless and meaningless.
I xmrRedux wonder if he checks his nostr DMs.

Those pre installed shits are the reason I haven't tried it out. That and I have swaywm keys embedded into my prefrontal cortex at this point, changing to hyprland would mean learning something.
Ive been using arch +swaywm for years, might just have to make the switch and try it out.
Monfluo personally if youre mobile.
See, I don't think there will be a successor. People will choose what they want to use, thats what a free market for money without government coercion looks like. People like you and me already live in that world. You choose bitcoin, I choose different things for different reasons, including bitcoin but mostly monero. If I wanted to buy something from you and you only took bitcoin, you'd get paid in it. We can still talk about the merits of this and that and why we each choose what we choose, but the point is we get to choose. That's what it means to live in a non fiat world: not using money by decree.
Minimal PoW on by default in all clients, problem solved.
