"content": "It's fall and I'm doing cleanup in the garden. I've removed this Mahonia 'Charity' (the branches with the pointy yellow leaves) which has been near our front steps for over a decade. It's been slowly dying for the past six months and I don't know why. Also removed a Tasmanian pepper (Drymis lanceolata) which was damaged in the cold snaps of ''23 and '24 and never recovered. I need to rethink this area as it's shadier than it was when I designed it in 2014. #Gardening #PNW #fall\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/117/302/054/178/215/618/original/5c1873f3adeda36a.jpeg\n",
