Plume update: the last 6 days
Feed & loading
- Feed now updates in the background, with a "N new notes" pill and scroll position kept when you go back
- Switching Posts/Replies no longer rebuilds the feed
- Faster, more complete loading: shared relay connections, batched profile loading, outbox-relay lookups
- Profile notes load the same way as the main feed
Notifications
- Updates in the background without repeats
- Badge clears once seen and stays cleared after reload
Posting
- GIF picker (nostr.build) in note, mobile and reply boxes
- Polls (NIP-88)
- Client tag on published notes (NIP-89)
- Edit your own notes (kind 1010)
Reading & UI
- Notes and conversations open as a full page, not a pop-up, with easy back navigation
- Note menu: emoji picker, activity details, copy IDs
- Retry buttons for failed quoted notes, images and videos
- Reload button on profiles
Security
- Marketplace and podcast images and audio are limited to public https URLs
That's a whole lot of updates. More to come. Then I'm switching back to working on Chronicle for a bit.
