I have much to learn still, no doubt.

On the Pythagorean's and Phi:

"Hippasus discovered that the golden ratio was neither a whole number nor a fraction - it is irrational - and this surprised the Pythagoreans. They investigated its properties deeply enough to prove its irrationality. And then, according to the tradition, they killed Hippasus for revealing this discovery to outsiders.

Euclid formalised it around 300 BCE as "extreme and mean ratio" in the Elements, but Euclid was pulling from many mathematicians' works of the past including Pythagoras and Plato. He was documenting what the Pythagoreans already knew and had known for at least two centuries before him."

A nostrich put me on to Ken Wheeler a few years back, here's a two page PDF of his Aurea Sapientia that does a excellent job of bringing everything together - from the aether to magnetism to consciousness. It's like a cheat-sheet, but every element takes a fair amount of work to understand.

And here's one of his diagrams explaining the phi symmetry of the pentagram and water, and what lead me to the understanding that without water there is no consciousness, since water is a dipole antenna that connects spirit to matter:
