Appreciate your perspective. Need to look into the freehold thesis
I just think bitcoin is far superior to gold in almost every way and the ability for people to self custody, run nodes and transact P2P will counteract paper markets that dominate gold.
Only need a small fraction of the population that actually use bitcoin to avoid what happened to gold. I am hoping that some of us here on nostr will be some of the folks that move us forward and bring in a new era of prosperity
