Technically true, but it's a little different since the supply of fiat can be *created arbitrarily.*
When you can just will any number of monetary units into existence at any point in time, it makes sense to colloquially refer to it as "infinite". Because unlike algorithmic issuance, you never really know what the current supply is and there could always be more produced.
So technically speaking that's right, fiat supply never equals "Infinity."
But since an arbitrary number of units can be created at any point in time, it does make sense to refer to it with that term.
The same is not true for chains with unbounded algorithmic supply increase.

That is a great way to go about it.
Instead of buying the next console or device to play latest game (often not as good as old ones) repurposing something you already own has multiple benefits: you learn a few things while you get the new set up working, you extend the life of something you already paid for, and you get to entertain yourself building and using it.🏆
Ive had the same PC for gaming for about a decade now, and barring a few upgrades (ram, SSD, peripherals) it’s practically the same hardware. I am not phased by new games or graphics cards coming out. I refuse to be on their treadmill.

I think once people blow up and become a "hero" they feel validated and start talking about things outside their expertise or feel the need to comment on controversial things. Its all ego.

Not really. This is exactly what happening with bcash and BSV. Forkers get butthurt, leave and get stuck in an echo chamber of idealogical purity tests.
They are just the same as the people who still wear masks today
Its ultimately pretty boring. They have nothing to offer except team identification.
There are plenty of chains that can be used for monetary transactions and theres very little reason to support theirs in particular.

A large chunk of society has severe goal metric substitution with money. Any scheme to solve problems that starts with the application of money or measures success in money raised or spent is a victim of this mentality.
Don't ask how much was spent or raised helping the homeless. Ask how many meals or nights in beds were provided.
The same rules apply to any minimum income subsidy or welfare. The same rules apply to your life and budget. The assets are the real goal so the assets need to be your real measure.
