I think the 'who pays for the relays; nobody will pay for their relay' stuff is tiresome.
Remember in the old days people got an email adress from their ISP? It is a sensible model, except there was one issue: you may at some point switch ISP, so now you lose your email adress. Which sucks a whole lot so it made more sense to get your email stuff elsewhere.
Sure sure, a lot of people don't pay for their email, a lot of people also do actually. But here is the thing. With Nostr, an ISP offering a relay makes so much more sense than an email adress ever did, because you can just migrate the relay when you switch ISP.
See, Nostr is actually better that whatever shitshow the past internet actually was.

My biggest issue with D4 was how everything just scaled with your level so tightly, that loot was absolutely pointless throughout the game. Basically anything you found was going to be better than what you found 5 minutes before. It took me a while to realize what was going on, and that all my min-maxing effort were absolutely a complete waste of time; because in 5 minutes everything was going to get an upgrade anyway.
I played it once, with a barbarian, and eventually got into earthquake to the point where simply walking/running spawned endless earthquakes and everything i did added more earthquales and all my earthquakes were boosted to the tits and everything just insta'died by running past it. This honestly was cool....for like 10 seconds, and then i quit the game because i don't do "end game".

You are making a category error. Nostr =/= TCP/IP. In this context the TCP/IP would be either Schnorr, SHA256, JSON or Websockets. And Nostr would be akin to the INTERNET.

Technically pseudonymous. Anonymous would imply no name, and this particular post does have a name. Which in practice then can be undermined if 'everyone' uses the same name consistently (i.e. everyone posts using the exact same keypair) or different keypairs each and every time.

Well....its not something that affects me personally that much, but it would be nice to get Nostr represented in spaces that are not Bitcoin or explicitly Nostr related.
My guess in this particular case it is a fediverse conference that just advertises itself in more general terms, at which point my objection is the conflation, but other than that they can ofcourse do what they want.
In those terms FOSDEM this year was more of a disappointment.
My stance now is that we can atleast try to get into these various venues but not expect too much from it. We will just have to keep pushing our break-away-digital-civilization path to the point where we are undenieably ahead of the curve and the outside world can't afford to ignore us anymore.
