Nejméně dva mrtvé si vyžádaly přívalové deště a bleskové povodně, které o víkendu zasáhly Katalánsko. Na některých místech spadlo přes 200 milimetrů srážek a v Barceloně padl srážkový rekord. Meteorologové nevylučovali ani vznik jakéhosi „minihurikánu“. Ten se nakonec nevytvořil, bouře však i bez něj napáchaly rozsáhlé škody.
