Yeah the game looks neat, no need for a remake even if the remake were good... completed a year ago and the undead things would gave me chills sometimes.
Hoo yeah I'm yet to play other Zelda games like A Link to the Past.. maybe I should have played those before playing peak OoT, MM and TP.
.
BTW Zelda OoT remake looks like shit, feels almost like a joke toward original fans intelligence
I’ll take the blame. I’m the blame b$?!h
The Ford Explorer chase through the streets of Bogata in Clear and Present Danger is better than 90% of action sequences since.
wtf was going on in 1994?
Nostr must slow down developing its freedom-loving and positive-toxicity-induced culture. If we continue on this trajectory, we may cause corporation-destructive and self-orienting people, that stop consuming what is being fed to them. This, needless to say, may cause collapse of the established structures and societal norms, resulting in narrower gap between elites and privileged aristocrats.
This is irresponsible behavior, and we must carefully consider the pace of the spread of positivity in the world.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They all “deleted” nostr, since our “culture” is fucked up, apparently 🤣😂🤣
They ran out of tolerance for broken Nostr clients /j
Glad to hear you are alright!
All good on my side too, the fam and doggo are all good! Ping me on TG sometimes when you have time and have gone for long, I almost did myself but figured you were maybe busy and I didn’t want to add to it. 🫂🫂🫂
Hey! Long time no see! 🫂🫂🫂
How have you been, sis?

Are any of us really here, though?
Or, be like @nprofile…3wq8 and build something worse with your VC money, then complain about Nostr and call everyone losers, then not deliver a product anyone wants to use, and then go back to Xitter and act like you deserve a prize.
Not sure what to watch this weekend? How about a Twin Peaks marathon. We got’em all..

One of the fun quirks of Nostr is that you never have any real proof a user has actually left, even if their account says it’s been “deleted.” Some clients will ban npubs with a delete flag from using them again, but there’s a fairly reliable way to reverse that. And as long as the nsec isn’t lost, someone can just lurk.
For example, @npub1ll9…xszt isn’t really deleted, because the profile has no deletion event, and even though the last visible post is from over a month ago, the user just updated their kind 0 profile metadata less than two days ago.
What this user didn’t realize is that they only changed the "display_name" field to “Deleted“ and not the alternate "displayName" field that was left behind by another client, so it’s trivially easy figure out who it is.
We see you, friend, 😏

Make that little “9/10” into another whole digit and shift the decimal one place to the right
Yes, I thought it was temporary, but seems it is still not working. Your address is misconfigured or something. I asked my clanker to investigate a little and here is what it gave me:
Your Lightning address is fine and still answers — but there is no wallet behind it. When someone tries to zap you, Alby's server replies: "The recipient's wallet is not properly configured. Please reach out to the recipient to resolve this issue." Under the hood it advertises a maximum payment of 0 sats, so every app refuses before even trying.
Why this happens. An Alby account and an Alby wallet are two different things. The account gives you the address (…@getalby.com), notifications and a Nostr identifier. The sats themselves have to land in a wallet the account is linked to. Alby used to run a shared custodial wallet for everyone; they shut that down on 4 January 2025 and moved to self-custody. Addresses kept working, but an account that never got linked to a new wallet is now a mailbox with no house behind it — which is your case. (Newer accounts start in that state too until a wallet is linked.)
How to fix it — about five minutes:
Log in at https://getalby.com → menu → Wallet Configuration.
Link a wallet. Either:
Alby Hub (Alby's own self-custodial wallet, cloud-hosted or on your own Umbrel/Start9): https://guides.getalby.com/user-guide/alby-account/link-wallet/link-alby-hub
or any other wallet that supports Nostr Wallet Connect (Coinos, Primal wallet, LNbits, Zeus…): create an NWC connection in that wallet, then in Alby choose "Link Your Own Wallet" → "Nostr Wallet Connect" and paste it: https://guides.getalby.com/user-guide/alby-account/link-wallet/link-other-bitcoin-wallet
Done — the same address starts receiving immediately; nothing to change on Nostr.
Alby's own explanation of the shutdown (their FAQ says: "Your lightning address will continue working and you can connect it to a wide range of wallets like Alby Hub, Umbrel, Start9, or other NWC-enabled wallets"):

You carved out the seed from it though, never seen avocado drawn like that 🤔
Oh, I see, avocado 🥑!!!! Didn’t know it was a term to describe it 🤣😂🤣

Huh, I had kind of forgotten about these sites. I never really used them, let alone considered posting anything on them, and this made me remember why.
It also makes me think that we actually have a pretty nice crowd here on current nostr, at least relatively speaking.
And I'm not so worried about the community here turning nasty, not because I think it couldn't ever happen, but because the consequences would be limited.
On sites like reddit, it feels like you are locked into some narrow space with your peers, and there is no escaping or avoiding them. With nostr, because you have your own keys, you can be more of a nomad. When this particular spot doesn't suit you any longer, because there's no shade or for whatever reason, you just take a minute to pack up and move to another one, taking everything you need with you.
It's a very different feel, and it has to do with the underlying structure of the protocol.
