The nominal number will climb, the value will remain - I did some really interesting maths recently, despite the numbers on our money going up insane amounts, we're actually still far wealthier than 30 years ago. Gotta measure time required to know the real values, the numbers are meaningless.
All so people today can say "look at me, aren't I nice, I support spending money on things". They'll ignore the consequences because they'll be most keenly felt by people they'll never meet.
Indeed. My politics is so extreme the people around me who consider themselves lect/right wing and who hate eachother with growing passion both look identical. I know it's not going to happen, but that also affords me a degree of freedom to share my thoughts. Only those that could be enacted, because they have wide support, are shouted down by either side. I'm just the nutter in the corner, to them, muttering about not doing evil things.
