AI and I made this game that many of you may recognize - check it out and let me know if you find any bugs or the easter egg trick that turns it back into the original game.

The crazy part is that apparently (based on the defense pushing to have the 1 juror removed) it's a 11 non guilty 1 guilty hang ....
How anyone could find her not guilty is beyond me.
I'm not a religious man but if the Bible makes good on this quote my butt will be at church ASAP.

Matthew 26:27 - Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you"

Stunning building - but comparing something built 900 years ago to something 4600+ years ago isn't really a fair comparison.
that video is low key brilliant.
Stories like this makes me unreasonably angry.
This is what happens when we have too few children and too many self important adults thinking they should have a say over other ppls kids.

Carrying it on your person was not a listed req in the challenge... and if you are carrying on person all the time it basically removes the worry about what media/format/encryption to use because the obvious answer is whatever is most current and since your carrying it on you you keep updating media/format/encryption every cpl years.
I'd argue though that on person is not a secure backup... its an offline working copy. If its on you then it can be seized if you are, damaged / destroyed if you are, etc.
The challenge as it was written made this sound like an archived long term thing which is why my original reply.
I've started it - likely finish in in next day or two, I'm doing an audiobook version narrated by David McCallion... This translation and McCallions narration make this sound not like it's from the 1500's but as if you were in a modern conversation.
California? beach looks nice
Challenge is flawed - if long term backup is important you need to physically secure both your storage device and it's reader together. You can't count on the device being usable on devices in the future.
For example the voyager golden disk had instructions on how to construct the device to read it written on the disk itself visually.
So what you would do in your case is store the memory card with say a laptop (battery removed) and a charging cable.
Messing around doing some vibe coding for the first time with a harness just seeing how it feels. Having deepseek build me a golang blackjack game with a TUI and web interface. I can see how messing with this can get addicting quickly.
Yup i think they are 3-4 episodes into it now. It's a different story (but one that rhymes) with the first 3 seasons.
Is there a method / pattern to the multi colour or is it a feel thing?
Nice - one of my fav bands growing up... saw them live for the first time last year and they were still rocking it :) I still spin Clumsy fairly regular.

If I have to be strapped down to the toliet while my butt is a firehydrant -- having a good chuckle is likely a good thing :P
gotcha! If you aren't familiar, OLP is a great Canadian band.

It's Ted Lasso on Apple+ Streaming ... highly recommend, it's a comedy but one with heart where the laughs are high and you leave the show feeling a little bit better about the world even if it's a fictional one. The current season is still young so not sure if it will live up to the previous ones but the original 3 seasons (which are a complete story in itself) are fantastic.
Should I assume that by the username you are a fan of OLP?
lol that's great - what are they capping?
ahhh i was thinking you could put them over an eraser on a pencil and occasionally let it poke over a cubical wall ... or tap the student in front of you ... or to point out important things when you are going over a document at the bank :P
pretty sure they are saying cover their yard (although I would say driveway) in birdseed so tons of 🐦 visit and leave thier special calling cards all over the place.
the weed killer would be for writing messages in their grass crop circle style.
both scenarios are likely better left to fantasy than reality
im sure you'll eventually find a way to win them over.
have to buy a new fridge. got home yesterday after a weekend trip to a dead fridge and a bunch of spoiled food :(
my thought is that if zombie apocalypse ever became non-fiction then we would be in a world that will have activated nuclear weapons shortly after... and once nukes are flying no I dont think crypto survives... nor really anything electric communication based.
high atmospheric nuke explosion is like a super emp and the changes to atmospheric conditions (ash, radiation, and violent weather) is going to wreck havoc on all radio based communication.
maybe it survives on some shielded machine in a bunker in NZ, but the question will then be what is its value to anyone when currency defaults back to a standard built on water, food, radiation tabs, and weapons.
taste is personal - i don't see any clutter and I enjoy the simple functional design of that era.
interesting book I read recently that is the entirely opposite take on this meme:
"A Short Stay in Hell" S. Peck
It's a short but very interesting read
Thanks for the suggestions - I've followed both!
Thanks Dawn - what clients do you suggest? I've been playing with Primal obviously and Nostrich - both have seemed decent (at least from the web).
I had thought that the client overly didn't matter it was more about what relays I had subscribed to my account and the client always pulls from them all but is that not correct?
As someone very new to Nostr and playing with the different apps - what's wrong with Primal?
Thx - I've been using them and nostrich lately as clients and as far as relays I've got a few on there (primal seemed to make sense due to size to include) as well as one I run locally just as a backup.
As a new user I actually really liked that they had the "default follower group" -- I looked at it like a bootstrap find a few people and then branch from their replies etc over time (kind of the tactic I used years and years ago with twitter).
My biggest complaint with nostr is so much of the content is crpytobro stuff -- which I'm entirely not interested in. If you have recommendations for nerdy / science / gaming / book / hockey / travel posters on the platform please do link it to me !
If users dislike it they are welcome to try a different distro - and considering the Kernel is allowing LLMs good luck finding a non "tainted" distro.
If you have to explain yourself and censor yourself away from discussions... I suspect there is more than one "they" you just haven't admitted it to yourself yet.

What makes someone an AI Booster?
1. Define natural balance
2. Define what tech "we're all working on here" (not everyone is a cryptobro)
3. That quote from James Carey almost comes off as meaningless word soup to me.
very cool can you share a few more pics? diff fabric each side? are these meant to be pocket square style handkerchiefs?
Books completed in August.
Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen was the standout book of the month for me.

Zero chance of this thing lasting - in 30 days you'll never hear of the clown behind this again.

I'm a big fan of silverbullet for notes.
It'd be a neat experiment to have a social network where you can only interact with 100 people and during the term of the experiment (say a month) that the only people you're allowed to interact with online would be those 100 people.
How well would you get to know them?
yeah it will be very interesting to see how they bring Gardner (and his goofy arrogance) into the mix with these two.
I'm hoping they dont reverse course on what the cliffhanger of ep 1 showed. Give us an amazing season from Hal and make that scene payoff big.
what from that Napster screenshot do you think is bad UI?
I've been using Zen (https://zen-browser.app/) as my daily driver for a while now and haven't encountered any sites that break, it is firefox based however so if firefox fails for you Zen is unlikely to be much better.
That said if I'd encourage anyone to check out Zen as it's been really nice to use.
