i don't know what counts as small
homeassistant? gitea?
I heavily disagree here. The correct way forward is to increase privacy with clients connecting to a potential malicious node and reducing the potential impact the bad node could have.
Making connecting to a node harder isn't a great way to adoption.
Have sane defaults for normies and the potential for pros to perfect their privacy needs.
Maybe we should push for a new kind of notes for Monero xaps.
What do you maxis say? HFSP
i think it's just a generic term for "average" when good is said like that
I'll leave this here: https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.01437
Everyone's adding Monero payments to their profiles and supporting that nonsense shit. You grifters seem to forget that Monero was 51% attacked just a few months ago... 🤡
Muting won't change reality 😁
The two projects should have been working together this whole time. Both can benefit from each other. Tribalism doesn't work well when you're supposed to be growing freedom tech, for freedoms sake. The goal should be greater than the project.

The funny thing is that this is a real problem with Bitcoin.
If we go far enough into the future (like when they compare Bitcoin to gold), how many coins will be lost in 100, even 1000 years, if Bitcoin is still around?
Actually, this is a little embarrassing as a Bitcoiner myself, because in many cases, Monero has greater circulation.
The two projects are different.
Monero does something Bitcoin should never do. And Monero does with ease things that are quite difficult to do with Bitcoin.
Tribalism is a dead end.
Burning Bitcoin is a real issue, capped at 21m, enough lost keys really kills circulation.
We have tail emission, coins are lost but new ones are created.
Maybe you should learn about Bitcoin.
Just found out that Nano-GPT does TEE too.
Seeing their monthly crypto reports, Monero is predominant in their payments. I wonder what that looks like on @nprofile…qagl.
Which provider do you guys use?
#ai #privacy #monero
You must be really scared to think burning XMR will make any difference.
It will make.
Seems that you do not understand how money works.
What makes money to be money? CIRCULATION. Burning shitcoins makes them NOT circulating.
Maybe you should go back in time and learn from cavemen the economics...

For all bitcoin pretendoors adding monero to their zap config on nostr, if you really want Bitcoin to prevail and make monero-bros happy, just add a burn out xmr address (address that nobody have the private keys) and make them throw away their fancy shitcoin and the shitcoin will burn into hell.
But ofc greed will prevail here, because you are not a real bitcoiner, you are just a grifter.
because monero is a shitcoin so they need to get rid of it as soon as possible
That's explained in the note.
Maybe we truly need AI to replace all jobs if people need to be trained to use Word /Excel alternatives that look and work exactly the same...
I have received more in Monero, in terms of both transaction count and total value, compared to zaps.
Even excluding outliers, it is similar.
I meant the UTXO model not the confirmation lock. In Monero new UTXO have a 10 block lock.
That might include training of users.
Ok, dope! Will have a check.
I sent someone some xmr and when doing the confirmation, it said I had 0 xmr 😱 but after confirmation everything was fine again 😁
It works like Bitcoin with UTXOs, when you spend a UTXO the change that goes back to you (or when you receive a new transaction) has a 10 block confirmation lock, after 10 confirmations you can spend it.
Thanks man! How to go on xmrbazaar?
It's a website: https://xmrbazaar.com
Thanks a lot man. I'm planning to sell some stuff on Nostr soon and it's always good to provide payment options
That's great, you can also sell on xmrbazaar. Also I almost forgot, https://monerica.com it's a directory where you can find vendors that accept monero.
Do you have lightning so I can zap you a bit back?
Don't worry, I like onboarding new users.
In monero we love circular economies, so you can use it for services paid in monero, xap on nostr, xmrbazaar.com and much more.
Yep, I can see it.

To see the transaction you will see at the top it has to sync, it does it automatically when you open the wallet. Welcome to monero!
Thanks fren! I can indeed see it being confirmed 😁
Yes, don't worry, we all start somewhere.
I'll send you a bit of monero once you set it up so you can see how transactions work.
I think I got it to work 😎
Settings / Payment targets, then type monero and your address.
The address is just the receive address, right? Sry bit noobish 😅
You can try CakeWallet, it's very simple to use.
Ok, made the seed. How to add address in Amethyst?
Does it support payto addresses?
I'm glad it worked for you!
I don't know. We went from zero to a 100 in a matter of weeks. I'm having to block 1 out every 10 posts I see.

yeah, there’s overlap.
nostr is permissionless comms. bitcoin is permissionless money. monero people usually care about the same threat model.
implementation details get spicy.
It's because Monero wallet needs to sync with blockchain to check every receiving transactions
It has to be synced. It might take a while at the beginning.

Bitcoiners always talked about nostr in monero conferences, after all we share the same values regarding sovereignty and permissionless tech.
