Done, and no fees! 🏃🏻♀️🗽⚡️
To my knowledge, there is no alternative to Clave on iOS. Have you filed an issue or asked @npub1xy5…3urc about it yet?
Why do they charge a transaction fee for accepting fiat? Can people just zap you instead?
I had my first at Drupal around 2011 and didn't liked it. So I ignored it till version 8 when more and more components of the Symfony framework got adopted. I have a hate-love relationship with it, but it is paying my bills as a soloist. There is a lot of value you can extract from Drupal, but it requires a deep-mindset with deep-work.
I am a fullstack Drupal developer, looking at code within Drupal everyday 😅
A bullish bitcoin thesis doesn't protect you from being forced to sell before it plays out. Leverage can turn a temporary drawdown into a margin call or refinancing problem. Ordinary spending can create the same pressure when too much usable wealth depends on selling bitcoin at the current price.
This is why path dependency belongs in a financial independence plan. The eventual outcome matters, but so does your ability to meet obligations along the way. Conviction explains why you want to own bitcoin. Accessible investments, manageable debt, income flexibility, and limited leverage help determine whether you can keep owning it through a hostile market.
The answer isn't to assume bitcoin must be a minor holding or that it can never be sold. The useful test is whether a deep drawdown would force a sale on the market's schedule rather than yours. A durable plan gives the thesis time to work without making the household depend on a smooth path.
Oh man, this is going to be a killer feature.

The video stream format needs full HLS (HTTP live stream) support. @npub12hc…rdp4 uses separate audio and video tracks in its stream. Apps need to update to support this. It will be working in the next release of @npub1car…f0dd.

“Palestinian civil society, grassroots movements, political organizations, and international solidarity actors should reject depoliticized frameworks that operate without an immediate and permanent ceasefire. They must also press for enforceable guarantees against renewed military assault and for accountability for the genocide. They should insist that both reconstruction and governance arrangements are grounded in Palestinian political agency and collective decision-making rather than technocratic neutrality imposed under external colonial control.”

OK, thanks for confirming. I’ll remove it from the Sidecar directory.
I spent more than 12 years in corporate America before admitting I had never built a real plan for my future. The salary and benefits were decent, but momentum had made too many decisions for me. FIRE gave me a practical way to turn money into more control over my time.
The plan starts with three connected choices.
First, understand your expenses. List what your life costs, decide which spending genuinely matters to you, and cut what doesn't. Your expected expenses determine the portfolio your lifestyle requires.
Second, pay yourself first. Pick a savings rate—even 10% can be a useful starting point—automate it, and build the rest of your spending around what remains. A higher rate speeds up the process, but consistency makes the system work.
Third, buy and hold assets. Dollars lose purchasing power over time, so long-term savings need exposure to assets that can preserve or grow it. Many FIRE investors choose stocks or real estate. I choose bitcoin as my primary long-term savings asset.
Your target still needs room for volatility, spending changes, and bad market timing. Financial independence comes from repeating a clear process: earn, save, invest, measure, and adjust.

@npub1cla…539g is a remote signer (different spec) but there is no second best.
There’s already a very good NIP-07 signer for iOS.

That shows how bad the system is...
It should just work automagically, and it very much does not...
Send me your npub that you're using with White Noise and I'll add you to some.
I guess more lists is an option...
Great podcast about the History of Liberty by Ralph Raico.

Interesting. Is it recorded or do you have some materials which I can check?
Opinions without arguments are not worth my time 😋

Protection of transaction and consensus by holders will be a more than sufficient incentive.

I was thinking to do a bot that comments under people's notes with help on identifying the problem and offering a quick solution.
We won't, these are temporary specialist relays that are designed to work well with marmot messages only.
PSA:
Please put only 3-5 relays in your relay list.
If you have too many relays in your list, then everyone who wants to send you a note or read your notes has to connect to multiple relays and that consumes a lot of bandwidth and compute.
You will have a much better experience on Nostr if you decrease the number of relays in your lists. This is a very common issue we see for White Noise. People have 30 plus relays in their list, and things start to get really weird.
That is because apparently you have 20 relays in your inbox list. The recommended is to have 3. Because if you have many, then everyone who wants to get your notes needs to connect to a huge amount of relays, which wastes bandwidth and processing time. We have a limit of 16 right now in white noise, which is much more than the recommended. There is still the bug that we're failing hard, because maybe you have key packages on 16 of your 20 and we could get those. But still I would recommend you to decrease the number of relays in your list substantially.
Looks like youre not signed in to White Noise yet?
Oh wow, I didnt know, thats crazy
You need to have at least one good relay in your Outbox and Inbox relay list that supports larger events and more concurrent connections. I'd recommend adding the White Noise relay in addition to the other existing relays that you have. Then things should work well. There was a bug that instead of adding it replaced. But that's fixed already.
