I don’t think I’ll have any extra room at my emu farm cabin.
Anyone could have claimed this before me, you only had to press two buttons and paste a word into a box. Sad!
This is exactly how an empire in steep decline behaves.
Nobody else claimed this in five hours?

Very cool to see this!
@npub1ven…ddfh messaged me the other day to ask if I’d be cool with him adapting some of @npub1car…f0dd’s visual themes for White Noise on Linux.
I think they turned out pretty nice. Also, if you happen to use Ditto, @npub18am…p424 twisted my arm to make some themes, and now they’re there for you to discover there as well.
Now that we’re up to 20 as of the upcoming release, I’m pretty sure I won’t be releasing any new standard themes for a while. There will still be special editions throughout the year, and I’ve got two more planned from now through January, and another one in the works for early spring.
That’s all for now…enjoy!

Yeah, that’s just weird. I never ordered that.
Why yes, I do leaving out words when I on Nostr.
I don’t eat a lot of fast food, but I myself in the vicinity of a Jolibee today while getting some car stuff done (that took over an hour longer than it should have), and I just couldn’t resist. For those of you who have never been to one, you’re kinda missing out. I ordered the deluxe chicken sando with umami mayo. When I went to pick it up, the manager at the counter asked me, “You just want a sandwich and nothing else?” I said, “Yep!” and took it over to the park because it was too nice a day to sit inside.

Slimy cucumbers and rotten avocados. Avocados are so temperamental.
Flow is everything. And it's harder to get in that state than ever.
people talk about the internet and platforms etc all the time. There is an entire paradigm of words they have understanding of in their heads that get thrown around in conversation all the time in order to communicate.
So no, we don't need to stop talking about Nostr, we need to normalize it in peoples heads. The fact you even relate the matter to a list of platforms is already a sign you might be missing the point, and could benefit from talking about Nostr some more
The opportunity cost of spending doesn't disappear when you pay with dollars, and it doesn't become uniquely destructive when you pay with bitcoin. The purchase reduces what remains available to invest; a recurring expense can also raise the lifestyle cost your financial independence plan must support.
Spending bitcoin changes your asset mix unless you replace it. Spend-and-replace can restore the position, but transaction costs, taxes, and timing can make the route less attractive. It also doesn't answer which asset should ultimately fund your spending.
Judge the purchase first: is it necessary or valuable enough to justify the savings and future flexibility you give up? Then choose the payment method based on the actual friction and the portfolio you want to hold. Enjoying money now and protecting future freedom are part of the same decision, but the tradeoff begins with what you buy.

Good night reading for now, will continue the report later.
Just embrace your identity, Inverse Jimmy.
On that note, the guest brought some photos of his own this time. Fucking love this memetic bit. #drunkstr

Also, quite a profound debate about good tools. #drunkstr On one hand buying better than rock bottom equipment for children, just in case a poor experience would drive them away from a hobby that could turn into a future calling. On the other hand holding back on buying better DIY equipment just 'cause you use it once in a blue moon.
It came differently from a guy in his early 70s (I hope I will have that much energy and still be drinking with "young" fellas when/if I hit that age) (the lesson here is #TreatYourself)
May have accidentally overspiked my friend's soup with chilli.
Sorry 😔
...but come on, you can't act like my dispenser is clogged and then be surprised when I show you how to spank that little bitch. #drunkstr #SweatingIsWeaknessLeavingYourBody
Well, apart from the #drunkstr beer, we talked about the guerrilla garden project, and apparently there is a shortage of chestnuts this year, due to drought. 😕 Also stratification (cold-treating seed over winter) is almost common knowledge. Well, not that common, I think. I just have cool friends.
And the suggested strategy was, fuck the preparation, just shoot the seeds and pray.
Nature will sort it out. #toughLove
And that’s why it probably will.

Today's #drunkstr was one back to the roots, despite the extended audience. Would do again.
Honest question: what else would you have them do, given they supply every living idiot soul with their OS.
As is tradition, I will remain blissfully ignorant.
I like the stupid ostrich.

Because you never know when you might need to take an epic off-road mountain adventure on your way to Costco.
Thinking about where all the lurkable hidden places went. Have they all turned into urbex these days, got stomped over by "civilization" growth, or have I just lost my sight for them? #asknostr

On my way to #drunkstr. I have a love-hate relationship with this unproductive method of travel, forcing me to introspect instead. I used to do that a lot more while commuting during college days. Wondering if it ever changed anything. #brooding
What's wild is that every library of Marmot also depends on a different library for MLS, each in the native language.
Radical decentralization all the way down.
