Thanks for your opinion, but I just want to mention that our vibecoded UI has been using relatively the same font, layout, animation and icons (which is 80% similar to what we had before just now is cleaner), the only big change here is moving the sidebar to the top which make more room to focus on content rather than the bloating links which 90% of time your eye will ignore. Will see how to bring back the old sidebar as an option on future releases 🙏
Hey @nprofile…zca4 what do you exactly find inconvenient in the new web app design? The new version is a content focused UI eliminating all distraction such as the side bar which is mainly the big change here, while the rest of the component gained a slightly uplift redesign for an appealing look, you can share your thoughts and we'd be happy to consider it, thanks.

I think you have it wrong, YakiHonne is free and will remain always free, our subscription models are for additional features, you’re not obliged to pay to keep using the free version.

Regarding paying the subscription using points, that’s only if you are on a paid plan, the free version can use Yaki points only to pay for paid notes. Hope this helps.
We do have payment by lightning but right on point about adding a yearly subscription, we will definitely add that 🫡

By default it’s using light liquid glass, you can change that by going to settings -> Appearance -> Glass quality and set it to premium

The trial is on yakihonne as well that includes premium features, once the trial ends, you are back to using the free YakiHonne same as always.
Have you tried this on mobile? If so an update will be coming by the end of the week optimising performance and fixing some issues such as this one.

Yes, paid notes are boosted posts rotated in the home feed, users in the free plan get to see them, others in the Basic plan see few, and the ones with the Premium plan see nothing.
