It is a truly singular time, this 21st century. I try to remember that when life starts to feel mundane sometimes.
The Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, these were special eras too. But right now... It's hard to fathom how monumentally significant these few short decades will be in the long arc of history.
We get to live through the Cambrian Explosion of technology and intelligence and I'm grateful to have been so lucky, even if it is hard sometimes.
