Lately I actually read the terms on almost everything I open. Apps, accounts, updates, that little checkbox nobody reads. And every time, somewhere in my head, I'm saying fck no.
They want my location to show me the weather. My contacts so I can send a message. A license to everything I post, forever, in any media "now known or later developed." We click agree because the only other option used to be going without.

I was *actually* impressed. I prompted "my chair just went 'sproing' when I tried to recline and now it won't" and gave it a picture of the underside of the chair. It identified the broken spring and gave me an Amazon link.
That's useful and made my life easier. I could have figured it out, but it probably would have taken me far longer than 2 minutes.

That sounds very scuffed, I mix Mixstr (my own vibe coded one that works but is slow), Amethyst, Ditto and Armada. My settings are fine, but I only change them on Amethyst.
I lost my shit a few times, that’s why I learned how to make apps to stop me from losing my shit.

It's like map software giving time estimates. They are all so desperate to get the fastest result out of fear you'll go to someone else that they completely detached from reality and became useless.
The most annoying shit is when your order gets delayed and the site indicates that you could get it faster by cancelling and ordering again.
