The revised Clarity Act text landed on 10 September with the 126 changes the Democrats asked for.
The one that matters here: the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act, the part that stops non-custodial software developers being treated as money transmitters, now only covers civil enforcement.
The language protecting developers from criminal prosecution for unlicensed money transmission was removed after pressure from prosecutors. That is one of the charges brought against the Samourai developers.
So writing non-custodial software should be shielded from regulators, but not from a criminal case.
The cloture vote needs 60. Republicans hold 53. Prediction markets had it around 25 percent.

what are you trying to do with noteguard? whitelist wouldn't allow anyone to write unless they are on the list, hence whitelist.
Yes, hook up maple to opencode, and then hook up opencode to whitenoise. (In the android app you can copy a one shot prompt to do that)

Great question, it's a hard problem.
My strategy for this is:
Bootstrap with nostr and bitcoin plebs, they're at the cutting edge and understand and value the spirit we're building in.
Make it work fantastic for AI agents, because you don't need human friends in the app when you have 100 agents to talk to.
Get it in the hands of journalists and activists who need unstoppable secure messaging.
That's as far as my plan goes as of now, but that's already getting us to 100k+ users hopefully. From there on out it's easier to grow.

Ran into a few delays and some (minor) injuries but we got there in the end!! SO stoked how it turned out, absolutely could not have pulled it off alone.
@nprofile…r3vc and I poured some blood, plenty of sweat, and a maybe even a few tears for good measure into this thing over three weeks. The only person I have ever met that will keep pace with my work ethic and grind through sun and rain for some epic 8 and 10 hour days to get the thing done. Ever the optimist, always ready to work! Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who will go all in on your project. 💪

Is DeepSeek only good with their own harness? Been using it the past couple days with Hermes and its slow af. GLM was a lot better.
That makes some sense. I'm using it through PPQ and Hermes has gone to the fallback model 4-5x this morning.
