Prolonging life with money is a modern phenomenon. It's a very strange tradeoff and one that prices life itself. There's something metaphysically unsettling about this.
Can you try again? Could be a hickup, or a non backwards compatible new feature of something.
Here are some issues I've found so far:
1) The app keeps hiding my phone's navigation buttons
The app keeps hiding my phone's system navigation bar, the three navigation buttons that are normally at the bottom of the screen.
I don't see an option to prevent the app from hiding them. The only way to make them appear again is to swipe up from the very bottom of the screen.
This is annoying because it adds an extra swipe every time I want to use Home, Back, or switch apps. Sometimes I simply want to press Home to leave the app, but the button isn't there until I swipe up first.
2) The app's own navigation menu disappears when scrolling
The app also hides its own navigation menu when I scroll down.
For example, I finish reading something and reach the bottom of the page, then realize the navigation menu is gone. I have to swipe back up before I can navigate somewhere else.
Combined with the phone's system navigation buttons also being hidden, this makes navigation feel unnecessarily difficult. At times, both the app navigation and my phone navigation are hidden at the same time.
3) Spaces/live events from people I don't follow are always shown at the top
Spaces/live events are constantly displayed at the top even when I don't follow the npubs hosting them.
For example, I'm always seeing those annoying fake 24/7 streams because they continuously broadcast. There doesn't appear to be any way to disable this.
I'd like an option to show only live events from people I follow at the top.
4) Swipe from the left to open the menu
It would be nice if I could swipe from the left edge of the screen toward the right to open the main menu, similar to how navigation works in many other Nostr apps.
Other than these issues, so far so good!

My argument still stands even in this case tho.
I see why that's counter intuitive, but it's pretty straight forward if you think about the actual legalities of it.
That's why Kinsella is so insightful, he's actually a patent lawyer, and one of the sharpest thinkers about libertarian jurisprudence.
You need much more than just capital to be successful.
And again, they wouldn't steal from anyone in this case. A business does not own the future purchase decisions of future customers, that would be slavery.
It is fascinating, you'll enjoy the book, it covers this and many more cases.
You could let everyone who joins a concert sign a contract that they must never whistle the song to anyone else, and if that is the condition for them to enter the room and listen, and later they spread the song, than that's an unethical violation of contract. It is however not "theft" of the music.
But as you can see, that wouldn't really make you a popular musician and probably go against the reason you're creating art in the first place.
What's important here is that contracts only bind the signatories, so if someone walks by outside on the street and catches the tune, he has no obligation to be quiet about it.
